Mobestar has appointed Steve Rogers as their new head Head of Development. Mr Rogers will be responsible for product strategy and direction and he will lead the technology thrust into the company’s new target markets heading up their new development team. He joins the company from ShoZu where as Partner Services Manager he was responsible for web technology and integration products.

Steve has spent the last 8 years in the mobile and web space working with media companies, mobile network operators, handset manufacturers, OEM’s and social networking portals worldwide. Steve was the architect of the ShoZu Open Gateway used by the service to communicate to over 50 on-line social and media destinations.

Chairman of the Board, Peter Richards said “The company’s recent re-launch and repositioning has meant a radical new approach to the application of the company’s technologies and we needed someone who had significant experience of this nascent market who could hit the ground running. Out of several hundred candidates Steve was the obvious choice for the position and his immediate impact has already been felt as we expand into new territories.”
